Description: Slipform construction, slipform formwork provided by
Gleitbau Ltd.

Steel fixing Labour Only Package Peak
workforce 230 operatives.
Programme: 34 Weeks 18,000 tonnes of reinforcement, full slipforming
construction for the entire
structure peaking on a 24 hour working basis 230 steel fixers. MPB’s
involvement resulted in them being awarded the Concrete Society
Award 1995 for the Civil Engineering category.
Awarded the 1995 Concrete Society – Contractor award for this
contract.

Centre.
