MPB new Volvo Fleet

MPB are proud to announce delivery of 3 new Volvo FH 6x2 tractor units. The trucks were supplied by Volvo Wellingborough  handed over to Mark Price (Transport Manager) and Sean Murtagh (Senior Yard Manager) of MPB.

The vehicles all come equipped with Volvo's My Truck software which allows the drivers convenient control of the trucks via an app on their smartphone or tablet. The drivers can get an instant view of fuel, AdBlue, engine oil, washer fluid and coolant levels and can also check the door lock status, check the status of lamps to facilitate the pre-trip inspections and get immediate push notifications if the alarm is triggered. They can also set the parking climate timer to ensure perfect comfort at any time. The drivers aren't the only ones able to keep a watchful eye on the trucks from afar, the office can monitor driver behaviors, vehicle performance and tachograph compliance (including remote downloads) via the Dynafleet telematics package which is included for 4 years.
