MPB is delighted to have been appointed by Bowmer + Kirkland to design and construct the concrete frame structures at Echo Street, a new Manchester city centre scheme which will provide accommodation for 1,224 students across three towers.

With a contract value of some £18m, MPB will be carrying out basement and groundworks including drainage before creating RC frames for the three interlinked blocks of 27, 21, and 16 storeys.

The scheme, which will sit on the site of Chandos House, next to Vimto Park, will provide a mix of one-bed studios, and five- and six-bed clusters.
