MPB is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a contract to complete a package of works including RC frame and associated works to Stage 2 of the Holloway Head development in Birmingham (Blocks A & B) for valued client Winvic, with a value of approximately £9 million (this is an addition to blocks C & D at circa £8 million).

The Stage 2 works will include enabling works, piling, excavation and construction of a double height basement providing space for plant, storage and car parking before the construction of reinforced concrete frames for Blocks A & B.

A podium ground floor level and associated green space will also be created. Blocks A & B are 10-11 storey blocks. Overall, the scheme will create 484 1, 2 and 3 bed apartments across 4 new multi-storey blocks between 14 and 8 storeys high.

The site currently incorporates the Girl Guides Birmingham HQ building which will be relocated into a purpose-built section of the development and the old building demolished to make way for the new buildings.

The scheme will also provide generous and wide-ranging residents' amenity space which includes a media lounge, co-working spaces, formal lounges, dining area, gym, landscaped courtyards, and roof terraces.
