We have just taken delivery of another new tractor unit, the pride of our fleet is a Volvo FH480 plated to 65000 kgs, fitted with a Cormach 75800 E7 crane.

The Volvo truck complies with the Euro VI standard and as such meet all current regulations and is amongst the cleanest and greenest trucks available. The unit is fully fitted with all the required road safety equipment to allow us to comply with our FORS Silver accreditation.

The Cormach 75800 crane is one of the highest specification lorry cranes available. It has a maximum lifting capacity of nearly 14 tonnes and a maximum hydraulic reach of 16 metres – though, as with all cranes, the lifting capacity is conditional on reach and conditions.

The unit will be put to work moving our construction materials and crane sections although it will come into its own on our movements of site cabins, Preston platforms and other special loads.

If we find we have spare capacity for this vehicle, we will consider doing external work; probably, at first, assisting our existing customers with their deliveries.
